Modified on Thu, 14 Aug at 12:41 PM

A deposit is a form of bank deposit in which a customer entrusts a specific amount of money to a bank for a fixed period of time and receives interest in return. A fixed interest rate applies throughout the term of the deposit. At the end of the agreement, the bank returns the capital together with the accrued interest.
