Interest is paid monthly directly into your savings account. Interest is capitalized on the date corresponding to the date your savings account was opened.
If there is no such date in a given month, interest will be paid on the last day of that month and in subsequent months on the date corresponding to the date of the last capitalization.
Example 1:
The account was created on January 31.
Interest capitalization will take place on the last day of the following month, i.e., February 28.
Subsequent interest capitalizations will take place on March 28, April 28, May 28, June 28, etc.
Example 2:
The savings account was created on October 15.
Interest capitalization will take place on November 15, December 15, January 15, etc.
