How to open an account with UniCredit Poland – step by step?

To open an account with us:

Download the UniCredit app from the Apple Store or Google Play.
Select your country of residence as “Poland” and indicate whether you are an existing customer or opening a new account.
Choose whether you want a personal or business account.
Select the product you are interested in (depending on your choice, you may be informed whether it is possible to open it without an existing account).
Enter your contact details (email address and phone number).
Enter the SMS verification code sent to your phone number.
Set and confirm your access code (PIN).
Confirm location settings and Touch ID/Face ID (optional).
Choose whether you want to receive notifications (optional).
Enable location services (optional).
Select your preferred method for identity verification (mObywatel or physical document).
Ensure proper lighting when scanning your document and face – bright, even light without shadows or glare helps ensure successful verification.
Scan your document and complete the face verification process.
After successful verification, confirm and/or complete your personal details.
Enter your address.
Confirm whether you are a U.S. citizen or taxpayer and provide your tax residence. U.S. citizenship prevents you from continuing the account opening process.
Confirm whether you are a tax resident of a country other than Poland (only Polish tax residence allows continuation).
Confirm the general purpose of opening the account.
Add information about your employment and source of income.
Answer two legal questions and confirm whether any family member is a PEP (Politically Exposed Person).
Review the content of your selected package.
Accept the Terms and Conditions.
