What personal data do I have to provide to the Bank to apply for a loan?

Information We Ask for During the Application:


At this stage, we ask you to provide basic data that allows us to understand your financial situation.


1. Your Personal and Financial Situation (Providing this information is essential for a reliable assessment of your ability to repay the loan.):


- Housing status (e.g., owned, rented)


- Marital status 


- Average net monthly income (including benefits, e.g., 800+)


- Average monthly expenses


- Your current liabilities (e.g., installments for other loans, credit card limits)



2. Your Source of Income: The type of income confirmation required depends on its source. The main forms we accept are:


- Employment contract (fixed-term or permanent)


- Business activity / Self-employment


- Pension or disability benefits


- Mariner's contract


- Civil law contracts (contract for services / specific task contract)


- Income from agriculture


- Other documented sources



3. Verification in External Databases


As a financial institution operating in Poland, we are legally obligated to verify your credit history and payment reliability in external databases. This is a standard and legally required part of the process.


The databases we check include, among others:


- BIK: Here, we verify your repayment history for past and present loans and credits.


- BIG: We check for any overdue payments on other liabilities (e.g., phone or utility bills) in databases such as KRD or InfoMonitor.


- PESEL Number Reservation Register: In accordance with the new law, we check if your PESEL number is reserved, which protects you from fraud.


- Polish Bank Association Systems: We verify, among other things, the database of reserved documents.


- Public registers (for businesses): CEIDG, KRS, REGON in the case of individuals conducting business activity.


- Internal banking systems: We check our internal history of cooperation with you and use anti-fraud systems to ensure security.
